Onto a different city and different pursuits coming out of the laid back phase and the quiet life .

Devbagh Beach Resort

A small group of us got together in Goa this December  and then went on to Devbagh Beach Resort. Had an awesome time.

Devbagh was an awesome experience and the time in Goa just as enjoyable.

Ramesh Santhanam, Ramu to friends , made sure we were really well taken care of. 

Another really memorable part of this trip was watching Radhika paint. Even her sketches had a bit of magic and as she painted and sketched it all came alive evoking awe. 

Class of 84 @ Valparai

Reunions seem to be the happening events at the moment and a bunch of old schoolmates decided Stanmore Bunglow in Valparai was just the place for a get together. The three days @ Valparai was awesome and just meeting old buddies from school was a great breather in an otherwise depressing year. Being at the Stanmore Bunglow was in itself a wonderful experience as the wooden cottages located around the property and the centrally located colonial bunglow added a touch of charm to the whole experience. The views across the hillside were picturesque and friendly courteous staff ensured we were well taken care of.

Big things come in little packages.....

Hard to imagine little cars can turn out much but this old old Maruthi 800 was really going with me at the wheel and touched 140 kph. Same with the Thar @ 150kph ... See for yourself

Funnily it's the same with people.... The nicest, sweetest , largest hearts are sometimes in some otherwise normal people .... "Z" for instance. God bless all my friends .... For being there when I needed them most.

Charu pulled me into a whatsapp group this morning and I've been chatting all day catching up with my mates from school.

 Never ever had such a nice time just chatting all day. I reckon it's because of all the wonderful people in the group. Thank you all.

The Solitude

Friends come over and during the day some do things that brings a smile to the face and warms the heart and they leave us plenty of memories to treasure. 

Evenings are often spent around our outdoor fireplace and sometimes the quiet and the stillness of the night is just awesome and it's wonderful to have friends over at these times to share the moment. 

                                         

At times we do have the rough patches with very dear friends and in those patches everything else that's otherwise  so magical when they are around fades away and one misses them oh so much. 

Food & Drink

It"s a long way to the nearest Pizzeria so when we do get a chance we indulge ourselves. Friends drop by at times bringing us something special...... like baguettes and good cheese and it"s those times we miss " Baker Street" and  "Tantos" and all those wonderful places and the times spent there in the company of good friends.

We do get our drinks from the store at the Brookfields Mall and we're never short of cheap vodka locally to mix up one of our favourite cocktails " Chilli Vodka"
